All of our hire bikes complete a lifespan of between 30-45 rides before undergoing our rigorous preparation for sale service. We strip the bike down to the frame, replace worn components and complete a full gold-level service. No expense is spared to ensure that each ex-demo bike is functionally pristine and works as new. We pride ourselves on the condition of our ex-demo bikes at Glentress. Our bikes have a short hire life with a maximum of 30 rides, so are never more than a few months old with the fleet changing out several times per season. While they have all been ridden and will typically have some minor cosmetic marking as a result all bikes are fully serviced for sale with parts replaced as needed including tires, drivetrain consumables, pads and frame bearings so are in mechanically excellent condition. Transferrable warranties apply to all demo bike sales with every bike having a minimum of 2 years frame warranty and a 3 month parts warranty from time of sale.
